VFY prices decline in Chinese market

Cotton Linter prices continued to remain stable at RMB 3150/ton in the previous week. In the last update from market, prices were in the range of RMB 2900/ton to RMB 3000/ton. Trading offers were in between RMB 2750/ton to RMB 2950/ton. Average price for last week was at RMB 2750/ton.

In the previous week, prices of Dissolving Pulp continued to remain steady at RMB 6750/ton. Prices of imported Dissolving Wood Pulp were assessed at US$ 850/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from the US were in the range of US$ 800/ton to US$ 900/ton, while those from Canada were in the range of US$ 850/ton to US$ 900/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from Sweden and Russia were at US$ 810/ton to US$ 880/ton.

Prices of VSF gradually increased in the previous week and later maintained a stable trend at RMB 13700/ton. Earlier, market opened in the range of RMB 13500/ton to RMB 13700/ton, but the trading prices inched up to RMB 13700/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VSF hovered in the range of US$ 1.923kg to US$ 2.01/kg. Market experts expect Chinese VSF market to maintain stable-to-firm trend in the short run and prices would remain around US$ 2.00/ kg.

In the previous week, prices of VFY were stable, but this week the market declined to RMB 40700/ton. Earlier, market opened in the range of RMB 40700/ton to RMB 40900/ton, but the trading prices decreased to RMB 40700/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VFY hovered in the range of US$ 6050/ton to US$ 6160/ton.
