Industry Minister vows to help Amritsar textile sector

The textile industry in Amritsar, a city in Punjab state of north-western India, would be revived, according to state Industry & Commerce Minister Anil Joshi.
During a meeting with textile unit owners of the city, organized by the Amritsar Textile Association, the Minister assured that he would raise the issues concerning the industry before the state government and would try to get them resolved.
The Minister said that finished textile items produced from the city are much in demand in various parts of the country
