Advantage Vidarbha conference on Feb 25-26

‘Advantage Vidarbha’, a two-day event to promote the Vidarbha region of western Indian state of Maharashtra as an investment destination, especially for the textile sector, will be held on February 25-26, 2013.
The conference was earlier planned for the first week of February, but would now be held on February 25 and 26, an official statement said.
Shivajirao Moghe, Guardian Minister of Nagpur district, expects that the event would result in signing of several memoranda of understandings (MoUs), which will usher in a new wave of industrialization in the region.
In addition to the textiles sector, the event will also focus on attracting investment in various other sectors like mining, logistics, automobile, food processing, tourism and power equipment.
The event will be co-organized by the Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA) and the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).
