Ethylene prices rise in European international market

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained stable in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices stayed steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1650/ton to US$ 1655/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1640/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market decreased and were offered in the range of US$ 1660/ton to US$ 1665/ton.
 
PTA prices went down in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices decreased and were offered in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1185/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1195/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market went down and were quoted in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1195/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 8775/ton to RMB 8825/ton.
 
Ethylene prices went up in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1375/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1265/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices decreased and were assessed in the range of 64.50 cents/pound to 65.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices surged in European international market to US$ 1440/ton, while the prices remained stable in domestic market at € 1140/ton.
 
MEG prices moved down in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices decreased and were quoted at US$ 1185/ton. In China market, MEG prices declined in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1185/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went down and were assessed in the range of RMB 8850/ton to RMB 8900/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1620/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were in the range of US$ 1540/ton to US$ 1580/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined to RMB 11300/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1490/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of RMB 11100/ton to RMB 11150/ton.
 
PSF prices went down in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1695/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were quoted at US$ 1595/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 11700/ton to RMB 11750/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY and DTY prices remained stable at RMB 11800/ton and RMB 12975/ton respectively, while FDY prices went down and were quoted at RMB 12200. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY were assessed at US$ 1620/ton, US$ 1770/ton and FDY US$ 1665/ton, respectively.
