Turnaround at Ineos ACN Cologne plant in June

Germany based Ineos, is likely to undertake turnaround at its Acrylonitrile (ACN) plant in the second quarter of 2013.
“Line no-2 of the ACN plant located in Cologne will undergo a turnaround in the month of June 2013”, a Ineos company official informed fibre2fashion.
Ineos operates two ACN lines in Cologne. Line no-2 has a capacity of 100,000 tons per annum and line no-3 has an ACN production capacity of 240,000 tons per year.
The official further informed that both the lines are currently operating at close to maximum rates.
