The traditional, family-run business Rivolta Carmignani has been synonymous with top quality for decades. Whether it's high quality bed linens, table linens or bathroom textiles for hotels, restaurants and other clients from the exclusive contract textiles sector, all the linen collections meet the most stringent demands in terms of quality, service life and design. At the same time, Rivolta Carmignani is the first company in Italy to receive OEKO TEX standard 1000 certification for its environmentally sound and socially responsible production conditions.

Quality and style as a trademark

Rivolta Carmignani S.p.A., located in Macherio in northern Italy, has more than 140 years' experience of manufacturing high quality contract textiles. Founded in 1867, the company developed a high degree of continuity in terms of top quality and a tailored service for its clientèle right from the start. “High quality products, stylish designs and innovative ideas have always been our trademark,” stresses Dr. Aldo Rivolta, Vice-president, "and we traditionally offer the entire specialist expertise to our demanding clientèle."

Rivolta Carmignani brings together this comprehensive specialist expertise across all the requisite production stages at a single site in Macherio. As a fully integrated operation employing 120 people from weaving to processing and finishing right through to making up and embroidery, the company makes high quality bed and table linens and bathroom textiles for hotels, restaurants and numerous other buyers of contract textiles.

The collections are highly valued throughout the world by an extensive client base consisting of around 10,000 companies in Italy, USA, Europe, Mexico, Canada and the United Arab Emirates, the Far East and Japan. Product ideas and designs for the linen collections are created in close co-operation with the customers in the company's own design and style office and are then produced according to individual requirements – naturally also with an in-woven or embroidered logo or emblem of the client upon request.

Stringent quality controls

At each processing stage and before any item is dispatched, all items have to undergo stringent quality controls in order to meet the highest demands of well-known luxury hotels, spa and wellness facilities, exclusive gourmet restaurants and airlines and shipping lines throughout the world.

Accordingly, only high quality raw materials, such as the finest Egyptian cotton and elegant flax yarns, are used. Alongside the elegant fabrics and timeless designs, durability, long life and good wash resistance primarily distinguish bed and table linen collections, as well as towel sets from Rivolta Carmignani. Dr. Rivolta goes further: “Furthermore, we attach considerable importance to being able to offer our clients as broad a product range as possible to align perfectly with the reputation and ambiance of our company.”
