Vicunha offers raw look denim sans drawback of discoloring

Robust raw denim is the original look in jeanswear. True denim fans are passionate about wearing the stiff, unwashed jean fabric that develops its own unique characteristics over time. The more wear and tear on the fabric, the more striking and individual the distressed look.

These days, designers are more fascinated by the look, rich coloring and comfortable wear than by the properties of the raw, unwashed material. An original look with a soft touch – a light version of raw denim! Highlights were shown at the Balmain, Chanel and Miu Miu shows in Paris.

In his show at Fashion Rio, Herchcovitch showed versions with VICUNHA Sunny Duo-D effects on both sides. R.Groove interpreted raw denim in vibrant tones, as an evolution of the little "Blue".

Phelps 7.0 oz 237.4 GSM

7 oz, with cotton warp and polyester/spandex weft. A raw denim look in navy and black for contemporary jeanswear.

Woods 6.8 oz 231.4 GSM

6.8 oz, with cotton warp and polyester/spandex weft. A raw denim look in navy and black for contemporary jeanswear.
