Prices of polyester raw materials remain stable

Paraxylene (PX) prices were stable in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices stayed stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1730/ton to US$ 1735/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1710/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market were stable in the range of US$ 1710/ton to US$ 1715/ton.
 
PTA prices were stable in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1195/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1205/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1205/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were unchanged in the range of RMB 8850/ton to RMB 8900/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained stable in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices stayed steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1415/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were stable at US$ 1370/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were offered in the range of 62.00 cents/pound to 62.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the European international and domestic markets, and were assessed at US$ 1510/ton and € 1150/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices showed a stable trend in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were assessed at US$ 1185/ton. In China market, MEG prices stayed steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1185/ton to US$ 1190/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices were stable and were offered in the range of RMB 8810/ton to RMB 8860/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1600/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1590/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were between US$ 1550/ton to US$ 1580/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were stable at RMB 11500/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were steady in the range of RMB 10900/ton to RMB 10950/ton.
 
PSF prices showed an upward trend in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1685/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1585/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were unchanged and were offered in the range of RMB 11575/ton to RMB 11625/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices were stable at RMB 11550/ton, RMB 12900/ton, and RMB 12000/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY increased and were quoted at US$ 1590/ton, US$ 1770/ton, and US$ 1645/ton, respectively.
