In Central China, offers of nylon staple fibre increased on February 18. The ex-factory price of 65mm 3D fibre was quoted in the range of 23,500-24,200 yuan/ton.

At present, offers are firm, mainly due to strong support from price of raw material and the price of nylon staple fibre is likely to remain at high level in the short-term.

In East China, prices of nylon chips increased on February 18. The market prices of conventional nylon spinning and bright chips were in the range of 21,000-21,300 yuan/ton, while the higher-end price was quoted at 21,500 yuan/ton.

The ex-factory price of nylon high-speed spinning chips was in the range of 21,300-21,800 yuan/ton, in terms of cash payment and shipment on buyer's part. However, transaction price was slightly lower.

Meanwhile, the polyester staple fibre remained firm in South China on February 18. Offers of 1.4D polyester staple fiber remained in the range of 11,650-11,850 yuan/ton, in terms of cash payment and shipment on seller's part.
