With the award, Messe Frankfurt honours innovative solutions that equip the apparel and textile industries to face tomorrow’s challenges. In addition to innovativeness, the jury assesses entries according to a variety of criteria such as energy efficiency, resource conservation, user friendliness, product safety, process optimisation and cost efficiency.
The Texprocess Innovation Award underscores the significance of the fair as the leading international high-tech platform for the sector.
The members of the jury include:
- Robin Anson, Editorial Director Textile Intelligence,
- Professor Dr Hartmut Rödel, Technical University, Dresden,
- Jürgen Brecht, Head of Technical Development & Production Management Clothing, Marc Cain,
- Katharina Engelhard, Director Costing Apparel, Adidas Group.

Frankfurt am Main, 10 to 13 June Once again, Texprocess will be held concurrently with Techtextil, International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens, at which the Techtextil and Avantex Innovation Awards are presented.
Additionally, Techtextil is organising the 12th ‘Textile Structures for New Building’ student competition together with the international TensiNet association.
