Brother to open sewing machine plant in Vietnam

In anticipation of the group’s business growth, the Brother Group is improving manufacturing facilities of each business on a global basis. In industrial sewing machine business, the Brother Group will be launching a new manufacturing facility in Hai Duong province located in the suburbs of Hanoi, Vietnam to improve cost competitiveness and prevent risks due to manufacturing facilities centralized outside Japan.

Currently, the Brother Group has one manufacturing facilities in China for its industrial sewing machine business. This new facility will be the first production site for its industrial sewing machine in Vietnam.
