Ethylene prices dip in Far East Asia; swell in US

Paraxylene (PX) prices plunged down in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1530/ton to US$ 1535/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1510/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went down and were quoted in the range of US$ 1605/ton to US$ 1610/ton.
 
PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1115/ton to US$ 1120/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1125/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1145/ton to US$ 1150/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went down and were quoted in the range of RMB 8100/ton to RMB 8150/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices stayed stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1435/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices declined to US$ 1355/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices surged and were quoted in the range of 62.50 cents/pound to 63.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the European international and domestic markets, and were offered at US$ 1525/ton and € 1175/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices stayed stable in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were quoted at US$ 1045/ton. In China market, MEG prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices surged and were offered in the range of RMB 8000/ton to RMB 8050/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1600/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1590/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were between US$ 1550/ton to US$ 1580/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined to RMB 10850/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were steady in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were offered in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 10500/ton to RMB 10550/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1640/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1540/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 11275/ton to RMB 11325/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices declined and were assessed at RMB 11325/ton, RMB 12725/ton, and RMB 11650/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY went down and were quoted at US$ 1560/ton, US$ 1745/ton, and US$ 1595/ton, respectively.
