PX, PTA & PSF prices fall in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices dipped and were quoted in the range of US$ 1530/ton to US$ 1535/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1510/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market dropped and were quoted in the range of US$ 1540/ton to US$ 1545/ton.
 
PTA prices fell in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1100/ton to US$ 1105/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1115/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1125/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices stayed steady and were offered in the range of RMB 8050/ton to RMB 8100/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1375/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1195/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were offered in the range of 65.00 cents/pound to 65.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed steady in the European international and domestic markets, and were offered at US$ 1490/ton and € 1145/ton, respectively.      
 
MEG prices plunged in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were assessed at US$ 1040/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1055/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices dipped and were quoted in the range of RMB 7700/ton to RMB 7750/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1540/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1530/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were between US$ 1480/ton to US$ 1530/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained steady at RMB 10500/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of RMB 10300/ton to RMB 10350/ton.
 
PSF prices increased in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1515/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1415/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed steady and were offered in the range of RMB 10400/ton to RMB 10450/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester DTY and FDY prices stayed steady and were offered at RMB 12550/ton and RMB 11350/ton, respectively, while POY prices fell to RMB 11000/ton. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY surged and were quoted at US$ 1515/ton, US$ 1720/ton, and US$ 1550/ton, respectively.
