Asian PX, PTA & PSF prices drop

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices dipped and were assessed in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1505/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1480/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market plunged down and were quoted in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1505/ton.
 
PTA prices fell in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1100/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market stayed steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1110/ton to US$ 1115/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices surged and were assessed in the range of RMB 8025/ton to RMB 8075/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained stable in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1375/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1195/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices dropped and were assessed in the range of 64.50 cents/pound to 65.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were steady in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1490/ton and € 1145/ton, respectively.      
 
MEG prices surged in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were assessed at US$ 1035/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of RMB 7700/ton to RMB 7750/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1540/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1530/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were in the range of US$ 1480/ton to US$ 1530/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices maintained a steady trend at RMB 10500/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices stayed steady in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of RMB 10300/ton to RMB 10350/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1510/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1415/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 10400/ton to RMB 10450/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices stayed steady and were offered at RMB 10950/ton, RMB 12500/ton, and RMB 11350/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY were steady and were quoted at US$ 1505/ton, US$ 1715/ton, and US$ 1550/ton, respectively.
