The 2013 edition of Yarn Expo Spring will present a new record of nearly 200 exhibitors from seven countries and regions, all looking to take advantage of strong Chinese yarn output figures from last year and a booming domestic economy. Yarn Expo, located for the first time at the National Agriculture Exhibition Center in Beijing, will cover 6,500 sqm in halls one and three. Participating countries and regions include China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Singapore and Switzerland.

This year sees an increase in Indian suppliers attending the fair, with the India pavilion – organised by Texprocil, the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council of India – doubling in size compared to last year. While the Pakistan zone, also in hall 3, will feature the latest high-quality and competitively priced yarn, including many high-count, natural, synthetic and elastic varieties to choose from.

Domestic supplier themed areas and zones showcase the best of China
This year’s China Fibre Hall theme is ‘Fibre of the World, Beautiful China’, and can be found in hall 1. Within this concept are four themed display areas and special zones to help buyers identify the latest trends and applications of different fibres.

They include:
•Chinese fibre trends 2013 / 2014 – green, recyclable and low-carbon fibres: the 2013/2014 trends surrounding environmental-friendly materials.
•Shenghong cup Chinese fibre innovation – Fibre of the World, Beautiful China: featuring fabrics, interior textiles, carpets and fashion designs to promote the concepts of eco-friendly, the recycling economy and low-carbon art.
•Chemical fibre regeneration and recycling zone – promoting low-carbon and eco-brands: three regeneration topics including low-carbon lifestyle, green outdoors and environmental protection.
•New generation of polyester fibres – lifestyle of the young generation: the latest trendy polyester fibres on display.

Make the most of three concurrent trade fairs
Visitors to Yarn Expo Spring can also visit two concurrent events, Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics from 27 to 29 March 2013 and CHIC – China International Clothing and Accessories Fair, held from 26 to 29 March 2013. A free shuttle bus service throughout these fairs is available.

Yarn Expo held from 27 to 29 March 2013 is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry – CCPIT, China Cotton Textile Association, China Wool Textile Association, China Chemical Fibres Association, China Bast & Leaf Fibres Textiles Association, and China Textile Information Centre.
