Fastest textile printing technology on show at Megatech

Italy’s MS Printing Solutions for the very first time presents the world’s fastest digital printing technology for textiles in Pakistan at the International Machinery Exhibition of Garment & Textile Technology - Megatech Pakistan 2013 going on at Expo Centre in Lahore.
 
Majority of the traders visiting the expo are showing interest in learning about the technology used in the new machine and how can it help producers in improving the value propositions of their products, thereby enabling them to tap the unexploited export markets.
 
More than 94 companies from 17 countries including Canada, China, Germany, India, Hong Kong, France, Netherlands, Japan, Italy, Turkey, Malaysia, UK, USA, Malaysia, Austria and Taiwan are participating in the expo slated to run till March 30.
 
The fair in its 11th edition was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Rector, National Textile University functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Textile.
 
Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturer and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) North Zone Chairman Mir Muhammad Farooq Meyer; All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association Vice Chairman and Regional In-charge Rao Abdul Basit and Embroiders of Pakistan President Haji Muhammad Akram also marked their presence at the inaugural ceremony held on March 28.
 
The fourth International Conference on Textile and Clothing (ICTC Conference) organized alongside the expo, extended a common platform for local and international experts to share their view on the future prospects and challenges confronting ‘sustainable textile products and textile exports’. 
 
Several textile producers and textile research and development students participated in the conference to get an idea regarding industry’s future growth prospects.
