PX, PTA & MEG prices swell in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices went up in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices moved up and were offered in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1445/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1420/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1395/ton to US$ 1400/ton.
 
PTA prices surged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices went up in the range of US$ 1040/ton to US$ 1045/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1040/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market remained stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1035/ton to US$ 1040/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went up and were offered in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1220/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices kept stable and were offered in the range of 61.50 cents/pound to 62.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed unchanged in the European international and domestic markets, and were offered at US$ 1400/ton and € 1095/ton, respectively.      
 
MEG prices increased in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 985/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 980/ton to US$ 985/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices kept steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 7200/ton to RMB 7250/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were steady in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1550/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1530/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers declined between US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices moved up and were offered at RMB 10,000/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of RMB 9225/ton to RMB 9275/ton.
 
PSF prices showed a downward trend in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1450/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1350/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices inched up and were offered in the range of RMB 10075/ton to RMB 10125/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY and DTY prices remained stable and were offered at RMB 10400/ton and RMB 12100/ton, respectively, while offers for FDY dipped to RMB 10,800/ton. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, andFDY fell down and were quoted at US$ 1410/ton, US$ 1640/ton, and US$ 1455/ton, respectively.
