China's cotton yarn market continues to remain stable

The prices of cotton yarn in major Chinese yarn producing provinces of Shandong, Hebei and Henan are stable in recent time.
Spot cotton prices have maintained a stable trend, and the price of downstream pure cotton yarn continues to be steady. At present, the mainstream price of cotton yarn C32s is around 26,000 yuan/ton, while prices of higher grade are in the range of 26,500-27,500 yuan/ton.
Polyester staple fibre market has been showing declining trend in recent time, impacting the prices of products containing polyester. The prices of polyester/cotton yarn have declined in varying degrees. Currently, T63/C35 yarn 32s is traded around 19,500 yuan/ton in mainstream market, and prices of higher grade are around 20,000 yuan/ton.
Meanwhile, the prices of rayon yarn have shown downward trend due to a decline in prices of viscose staple fibre. Now, the mainstream transaction price of R30s rayon yarn is 18,500 yuan/ton, while prices of higher grade are around 19,000 yuan/ton.
