PTA prices remained stable in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices were steady in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1055/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market went down and was offered in the range of US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1055/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices moved up and were offered in the range of RMB 7900/ton to RMB 7950/ton.
Ethylene prices followed a stable trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1275/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1235/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices moved down and were offered in the range of 55.50 cents/pound to 56.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were offered at US$ 1350/ton and € 1050/ton, respectively.
MEG prices followed a mixed trend in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 1005/ton. In Chinese international market, MEG prices went down and were quoted in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went up and were quoted in the range of RMB 7550/ton to RMB 7600/ton.
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices decreased in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1480/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In F E Asian market, selling prices went down between US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices went up and were offered at RMB 10,100/ton.
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were steady in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of RMB 9375/ton to RMB 9425/ton.
PSF prices went up in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1470/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices moved up and were offered in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
In Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices went up and were offered at RMB 10,500/ton, RMB 12,150/ton, and RMB 10,950/ton, respectively. In export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY moved up and were quoted at US$ 1430/ton, US$ 1650/ton, and US$ 1480/ton, respectively.
