Asian PX, PTA & MEG markets show downtrend

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices went decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1445/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1505/ton.
 
PTA prices plunged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices dipped and were assessed in the range of US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1055/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1050/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices fell and were offered in the range of RMB 7650/ton to RMB 7700/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1255/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1235/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were assessed in the range of 60.00 cents/pound to 60.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed steady in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1300/ton and € 1045/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices declined in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were quoted at US$ 1015/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1025/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices stayed steady and were offered in the range of RMB 7375/ton to RMB 7425/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1480/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers stayed steady between US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted at RMB 10200/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were steady in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices surged and were offered in the range of RMB 9700/ton to RMB 9750/ton.
 
PSF prices surged in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1510/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of RMB 10325/ton to RMB 10375/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained stable and were assessed at RMB 10700/ton, RMB 12300/ton, and RMB 11200/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY increased and were quoted at US$ 1480/ton, US$ 1695/ton, and US$ 1540/ton, respectively.
