Woolmark to host 50th edition of Ermenegildo Zegna Trophy

On the 23rd the gala event is held at the historic Royal Hall of Industries. Held in presence of international and national media, VIPs, celebrities and friends of Zegna will host this extraordinary event that will include an installation with multimedia projections, a fashion show featuring our Fall Winter 2013 collection and a grand party.

On the occasion Gildo Zegna, CEO of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group and Paolo Zegna, Chairman, will announce the winner of the 50th Edition Ermenegildo Zegna Wool Award for Superfine Wool and the winner of the prestigious Vellus Aureum Trophy. The Ermenegildo Zegna Wool Awards, established in 1963 to reward Australian breeders’ commitment to quality.

In line with its corporate mission, The Woolmark Company supports the Ermenegildo Zegna’s initiative with the intention to increase awareness and appreciation of the fibre across the world, underlining the role of Australian woolgrowers within the fashion and textile industries and enhancing values like quality, innovation, education, provenance and traceability.
