FabricLink makes finding new fabric innovations easier

The FabricLink Network is constantly working to give designers and product developer’s easy access to textile companies and their latest technologies.  FLN, the premiere online networking and fabric education resource for the textile industry and its consumers, announces the improvement and expansion of its Searchable Indexes to make it even more simple and quick to find new innovations and the companies that produce them.

“We now have 11 Searchable Indexes to make networking easy, including indexes for Company, Trademark, Fiber/Yarn, Fabric, Technology/Finish, End Use, New Product Development, Insulation, Leather, Component Material, and Findings,” explains Kathy Swantko, president of FLN.  “FabricLink Network’s Searchable Indexes are invaluable for helping designers with their challenges.  Through our interconnected Indexes, accessible through either FabricLink.com or TheTechnicalCenter.com no matter how you search, you will quickly find new ideas and new products. We make textile sourcing and networking simple.”

FLN’s End-Use Index has also been streamlined to make it easier to find the companies and the component materials targeted to a specific end use application.  A designer or product developer can quickly find suppliers and raw material sources for end-use applications within the targeted categories of Apparel, Sports Textiles, Home Furnishings, Safety & Protective, Industrial, and Medical.  The new End Use Index now has a total of 52 End-Use sub-categories with a list of resources that help solve most any design challenge.

If you are a supplier, you can have your company/products listed for FREE in the Searchable Indexes.  Simply fill out the new On-Line End-Use Product Form and follow the instructions.

Networking is the lifeline of the textile industry.  The FabricLink Network IS “Where You Make Connections!” and “Where Your Customers Come to Learn!”

About the FabricLink Network:

FabricLink.com (trade-to-consumer) and TheTechnicalCenter.com (trade-to-trade) provide key networking information and connections to new products and marketing opportunities for specialty textiles, products and services.  The two sites offer valuable content and technical information, news releases on innovations, fabric descriptions, usage and care, supplier history and contacts.  Eleven Searchable Indexes make the FabricLink Network websites the “go to” resources for developers of textiles, designers, and researchers.  Visit the FabricLink Network and on twitter at FabricLinkNet , and on Facebook at FabricLink.com
