Bolivia's Fitex 2013 to start from May 16, 2013

Bolivia’s fifth international textile fair Fitex 2013, which serves as a meeting ground for the medium, micro and small entrepreneurs of the textile and garment industry value chain, is going to take place from May 16, 2013, in La Paz, the second largest city of the country.
More than forty local and global companies, specializing in spinning, weaving, knitted garments, flat fabrics, embellishments, crafts and services, are expected to participate in the three-day-long event.
Organized by the Bolivian Textile Conglomerate (Cotexbo), the fair would exhibit a range of textile, clothing, haute couture cotton products and accessories.
Other than the demonstration of trade exhibits and spectacular fashion shows, another major highlight of the event will be an exclusive presentation of garments entirely made of recycled materials.
Business conferences and round-table discussions among entrepreneurs and designers from Argentina, Canada, Peru, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany and Brazil will also be conducted on the sidelines of the event.
