PSF prices rise in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained steady in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices kept unchanged and were offered in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1425/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton.

PTA prices remained unchanged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices were steady in the range of US$ 1030/ton to US$ 1035/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1030/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were assessed in the range of RMB 7700/ton to RMB 7750/ton.

Ethylene prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were offered in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1215/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1080/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices decreased and were offered in the range of 57.50 cents/pound to 58.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1185/ton and € 945/ton, respectively.

MEG prices kept unchanged in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were assessed at US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices were unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices kept steady and were offered in the range of RMB 7275/ton to RMB 7325/ton.

In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1490/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers stayed unchanged between US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices kept stable and were quoted at RMB 10100/ton.

In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were offered in the range of RMB 9500/ton to RMB 9550/ton.

PSF prices surged in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1495/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1395/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 10225/ton to RMB 10275/ton.

In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained steady at RMB 10650/ton, RMB 12250/ton, and 11200/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY increased and were offered at US$ 1473/ton, US$1690/ton, and US$ 1540/ton, respectively.
