Fabrics & Accessories Show, celebrating 10 years of its existence, will bring together manufacturers and suppliers of apparel fabrics, trimmings, embellishments and textile related services, while India International Home Textile Exhibition will provide buyers access to the latest products in home decor.
F&A Show 2013
This premier sourcing event has grown year-on-year to emerge as a strong brand in the value chain. Exhibitors at the show comprise large and medium suppliers from India and overseas, who will be showcasing their contemporary range of fashion fabrics and accessories. 15 China companies will be presenting their products alongside their Indian counterparts.
The major highlight at this edition of the F&A Show will be the diverse product range from old suppliers and many of whom are participating for the first time. Thus, trade visitors can expect to make new contacts and access new products.
Another high value-add to the 10th Edition of the F&A Show is the strategic alliance with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bangalore. Under this alliance, NIFT will be hosting several high profile events at the F&A Show which include:
NIFT Alumni Meet: this event will bring together over 200 alumni who are now employed in the textile and fashion industry in India and overseas. Many of these alumni are now in decision making positions and employed across the value chain. The high powered networking forum and dinner to follow will provide interaction with these decision makers.
Fashion Ramp Shows: two high-profile fashion shows will showcase the passing out collections designed by final year students which will be held on 23 and 24 May. Here again, the all-round creativity of the students, who will be part of the industry in coming days, will be keenly looked forward to by industry.
Seminar: industry leaders will speak on “Strategic planning for sourcing of fashion fabrics & accessories for today’s business scenario,” to be held on 24 May. This will bring together suppliers and buyers who will be able to interact with top honchos of the textile value chain
Static Trend Forum: final year students will put up a thematic display of the products that they have developed, ranging from textiles to fashion and home decor
Overall, the F&A Show promises to be high on deliverables, meeting the exacting standards of the textile and fashion industry.
HOMTEX 2013
Now into its second edition, the India International Home Textiles Exhibition (HOMTEX) has attracted quality companies from across India, which includes small, medium and large players. The exhibition will provide trade buyers, comprising wholesalers, retailers, buying houses, buying agents, single and chain store retailers an opportunity to network with suppliers and gain access to products under Bed, Bath, Kitchen, Upholstery, Made-ups & Flooring segments.
Still in its nascent stage, HOMTEX holds great promise considering the growing Indian economy and the demand for home decor products. The fact that this show is held alongside the F&A Show, presents strong synergies.
