JFE lowers operating rates at Chiba benzene plant

JFE Chemicals which operates a benzene plant has reduced the operating capacity of the plant.
“We are operating the benzene plant at 70% of production capacity due to lower demand in the market,” a JFE official told fibre2fashion.
The benzene plant located in Chiba prefecture – Japan has a production capacity of 150,000 mt/year.
The plant has a maintenance turnaround once a year from mid of September to October.
