BG PET Chips prices plunge in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1435/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1430/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market remained stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton.
 
PTA prices plunged in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1055/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1255/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1110/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices surged and were offered in the range of 59.50 cents/pound to 60.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1085/ton and € 865/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices showed a mixed trend in Asia. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were quoted at US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 7375/ton to RMB 7425/ton. 
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1460/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers stayed stable between US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton, while market discussion was in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices plunged and were quoted at RMB 10100/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9650/ton to RMB 9700/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1480/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained stable at RMB 10750/ton, RMB 12275/ton, and RMB 11250/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY remained stable at US$ 1480/ton, US$ 1685/ton, and US$ 1540/ton, respectively.
