Colombian trade fair Textiles2 to start from July 23

More than 100 exhibitors will feature their latest textile and clothing-related products at the forthcoming inaugural edition of Textiles2, a Colombian trade fair which aims to serve as a business platform for the Latin American manufacturers.
Scheduled to be held from July 23rd to 25th, 2013, in the country’s second-largest city of Medellín, the fair will be organized by Inexmoda, the institute for export and fashion.
Expected to attract over 1,600 national and international buyers, the event aspires to generate business opportunities worth US$ 120 million for the entire Latin American fashion industry.
The fair would include a 1,300 square meters wide exhibition area, which will display apparels, chemicals, equipment, machinery and other textile sector-based services from local and foreign exhibitors.
In addition to the vastly spread exhibit, the event will also organize 20 conferences headed by the leading fashion industry experts.
