Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices drop in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices stayed stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1395/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1375/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market decreased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1395/ton to US$ 1400/ton. 
 
PTA prices stayed unchanged in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1055/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1050/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1285/ton to US$ 1290/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1150/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of 56.50 cents/pound to 57.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices surged in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1110/ton and € 905/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices showed mixed trend in Asia. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices plunged and were quoted in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 7300/ton to RMB 7350/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1460/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers stayed stable between US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton, while discussion prices were between US$ 1410/ton and US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices decreased and were quoted at RMB 9950/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices decreased and were offered in the range of RMB 9525/ton to RMB 9575/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1485/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1385/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY decreased to RMB 10500/ton, RMB 12150/ton, and RMB 11000/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY declined to US$ 1450/ton, US$ 1675/ton, and US$ 1510/ton, respectively.
