MEG prices decline in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices surged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1415/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1385/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market stayed stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1395/ton. 
 
PTA prices remained stable in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices were stable in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1055/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices decreased and were offered in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1275/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1150/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices stayed stable and were quoted in the range of 54.50 cents/pound to 55.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept unchanged in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1110/ton and € 905/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices showed mixed trend in Asia. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 975/ton to US$ 980/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 7175/ton to RMB 7225/ton. 
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1460/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers stayed stable between US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1410/ton and US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted at RMB 9925/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices plunged and were offered in the range of RMB 9450/ton to RMB 9500/ton.
 
PSF prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1480/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 10150/ton to RMB 10200/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and DTY remained stable at RMB 10475/ton and RMB 12125/ton, respectively, while prices of FDY declined to RMB 10850/ton. In the export market, offers for POY and DTY increased to US$ 1445/ton and US$ 1670/ton, respectively, while prices of FDY declined to US$ 1485/ton.
