Arkema will exhibit its Platamid high performance copolyamide hotmelt adhesives, new PVDF Kynar grades for the spinning of ultra-resistant fibers, and specific Kynar PVDF grades designed for nonwoven and textile coatings at the next edition of TECHTEXTIL, the international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens covering all industries being held in Frankfurt from June 11th to 13th.

Platamid universal adhesion grades feature very high specific bonding, an ability to bond onto very different substrates (woven and nonwoven textiles, polar thermoplastics, thermosets, leather), low VOC and a high content of renewable feedstock (up to 80%). Arkema will also exhibit its Platamid standard range, with grades combining low fusing range, good crystallinity and good chemical resistance.

Arkema’s Kynar PVDF product line offers a complete range of fluoropolymers for monofilaments and multifilaments, aimed at the production of highly resistant fibers for architectural applications as well as chemical and water filtration. Arkema has recently developed high flow PVDF grades to spin ultra-resistant multifilaments for use in commercial spinning equipment to produce high performance fluorinated textiles.

Arkema will also present its Kynar Flex and Kynar Aquatec specific resins (available either in emulsion, powder or pellet form) for the coating technology used for architectural textile roofs, or for the protection of synthetic leather in cars. These various Kynar PVDF grades impart high chemical, UV and fire resistance, dirt repellency, and flexibility to textiles.

Arkema's development and sales teams will welcome visitors to their booth n° 3.0 A71.

A global chemical company and France’s leading chemicals producer, Arkema is building the future of the chemical industry every day.
