Polyester FDY prices decline in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices stayed unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1455/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1425/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1455/ton. 
 
PTA prices remained unchanged in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1060/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 7750/ton to RMB 7800/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained stable in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were offered in the range of US$ 1260/ton to US$ 1265/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1150/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined and were quoted in the range of 53.00 cents/pound to 53.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1140/ton and € 945/ton, respectively.  
 
MEG prices showed mixed trend in Asia. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 955/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices stayed stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 935/ton to US$ 940/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 6925/ton to RMB 6975/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1450/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers stayed stable in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1390/ton and US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices stayed stable and were quoted at RMB 9850/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices kept unchanged in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices plunged and were offered in the range of RMB 9375/ton to RMB 9425/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1465/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1365/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 10025/ton to RMB 10075/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and DTY remained stable at RMB 10475/ton and RMB 12050/ton, respectively, while prices of FDY declined to RMB 10700/ton. In the export market, offers for POY and DTY remained stable at US$ 1445/ton and US$ 1660/ton respectively, while prices of FDY plunged to US$ 1465/ton.
