“Fiskars Amplify Shears truly are revolutionary cutting tools, and Jo-Ann Stores is excited to be able to introduce them to the sewing and crafting world on an exclusive basis,” said Jen Bolon, buyer of sewing construction and basic craft components for Jo-Ann.
“We value bringing our customers new and innovative products to enhance their sewing or crafting projects, and this new line from Fiskars is a fantastic addition to our industry-leading cutting tools assortment."
Fiskars shears with Amplify technology senses blade separation when cutting thick materials – like leather, vinyl, wall paper and more – by forcing the blades back together for crisp, clean cuts. The technology behind this advancement is the shears’ floating blade tang which is engineered to transfer energy to the torsion bar and adjust the blade to its optimal angle with every cut.
Amplify shears comes in two varieties:
- Amplify RazorEdge Fabric Shears for thick and heavy fabrics
- Amplify Mixed Media Shears for thick & heavy mixed media
Amplify RazorEdge Fabric Shears can be identified by their iconic orange handles and come in 6”, 8” and 10” sizes. Amplify Mixed Media Shears are white-handled and come in 6”, 8” and 10” variations.
