With a 10.2% percent increase from the January 2011 edition, the show continued to maintain its presence as the must see event for the apparel fabrics industry. This was evident in the 22.5% increase in attendance at the show, with a total of 3,357 verified attendees.
The Fastest 50 Awards & Summit took place in Chicago, IL at the Swissotel May 8 – 10, 2013 and recognized the organizers of the fastest-growing shows for their excellence in growing their net square footage, number of exhibitors and attendance. Texworld USA 2012 Winter edition was recognized for its increase in exhibiting companies and its increase in total attendance.
Also featured at the event was a summit featuring fast-paced sessions on best practices, case studies and issues facing show managers. Organizers of the fastest-growing shows shared strategies and tactics that made their success stories possible. Invited to speak on the panel was John Gallagher, President and CEO of Messe Frankfurt, Inc.
The panel discussed what they are doing right now to keep their events on the fast track. “The ‘Tulip Club’ has been successful at bringing key buyers to the show and keeping them there longer.
"The club, available to our VIP buyers, offers complimentary car service to and from the event, lunch and refreshments, and a private lounge off the show floor,” stated John Gallagher. Along with the Tulip Club, Texworld USA offers good proximity to the garment district in New York City and a strong seminar program.

Texworld USA is the largest sourcing event in North America for apparel fabric buyers, research and product development specialists, designers, merchandisers and overseas sourcing professionals. The 15th edition of Texworld USA will take place July 16 – 18, 2013 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. The event will feature fabrics and materials from more than 420 exhibitors.
