Ethylene prices increase in US market

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices went up and were assessed in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1445/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1420/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market stayed stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1435/ton to US$ 1440/ton. 
           
PTA prices stayed stable in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices were stable in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1060/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market stayed stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 10605/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices shot up and were offered in the range of RMB 7625/ton to RMB 7675/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1295/ton to US$ 1300/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1225/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices surged and were quoted in the range of 57.50 cents/pound to 58.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international as well as domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1295/ton and € 1010/ton, respectively.  
    
MEG prices showed mixed trend in Asia. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were stable and were assessed at US$ 965/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 960/ton to US$ 965/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 7095/ton to RMB 7145/ton.    
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers stayed stable at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1440/ton, while prices were offered between US$ 1380/ton and US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices inched up and were quoted at RMB 9600/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were steady in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices surged and were assessed in the range of RMB 9350/ton to RMB 9400/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1455/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1355/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9965/ton to RMB 10015/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY, and FDY remained stable at RMB 10350/ton, RMB 12000/ton, and RMB 10500/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY were stable at US$ 1425/ton, US$ 1650/ton, and US$ 1430/ton, respectively.
