Cotton single carded yarn prices decline in Uzbekistan

Average prices of cotton single carded yarn declined in Uzbekistan by around 2% during the week ending June 27, 2013, due to lackluster market sentiments, and weak demand from downstream mills.
During the first week of July, average prices of cotton single carded yarn declined by 3.45% for 20/1, 3.33% for 21/1 and 1.56% for 32/1, and these were at US$ 2.80/Kg, US$ 2.90/Kg and US$ 3.15/Kg, respectively.
Cotton single carded yarn prices in Uzbekistan are likely to decline in the coming days, amid sluggish demand from the overseas market.
