Home décor etailer Arhinarmah debuts ethnic influence line

The Company was founded by Creative Director Catherine Arhin in April 2012. The label's signature collection launched later that year and consisted of a series of cushions, which were later joined by complimentary lampshades and in June 2013 a 'customer focused' bespoke furniture and reupholstery service. 

Aiming for discerning clients with an eye for quality, this dynamic and ambitious label seeks to deliver a distinctive taste of Africa to every home. By blending African textiles with luxury fabrics, and through the use of the brands fully integrational decorative pieces, consumers of all backgrounds can effortlessly and intelligently transform their homes without compromising on quality.

The Arhinarmah range is designed and produced exclusively in the UK which not only serves to bolster the local economy but also lends to the brand maintaining its African heritage while staying true to the highest standards of British craftsmanship.  Intent on fusing her African roots with her British upbringing, of her brand Catherine says;

'Arhinarmah has definitely been a labour of love. This is a brand built on hard work where attention to detail is vital. Fundamentally, customer experience is at our core and it's what drives us. My products are designed to be warm, welcoming and glamorous, and the mixed patterns and vibrant geometric prints that characterise my work are designed to instantly have an impact in any setting.

What sets us apart from our contemporaries is a significant leaning to bringing Africa into the 'luxury' homeware sector and we fully intend to capitalise on our unique proposition by creating products that are distinctive, consumer friendly and more importantly built to last.

We've fully thought about the usability of our products by repeating the same fabric through our cushions, lampshades and our furniture line. The ease in which customers can create a new look with these products is unprecedented. Our relationships with London print houses and established upholsterers afford us the capability of fulfilling large orders, while at the same time our bespoke furniture service allows customers to specify every aspect of their product from scratch if they wish - even going as far as to specify their requirements for the internal framework and build of each piece.'
