PTA prices dip in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices went up in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1430/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton. 
           
PTA prices went up in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices shot up in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1070/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market stayed stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went down and were offered in the range of RMB 7700/ton to RMB 7750/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1285/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1225/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices went down and were quoted in the range of 54.50 cents/pound to 55.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were witnessed at US$ 1300/ton and €1030/ton, respectively.  
   
MEG prices showed mixed trend in Asia. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices declined and were assessed at US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1015/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7345/ton to RMB 7395/ton.
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers stayed stable at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1440/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1380/ton and US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices went up and were quoted at RMB 9800/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were steady in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices stayed stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 9325/ton to RMB 9375/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1465/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1365/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of RMB 10015/ton to RMB 10065/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained stable at RMB 10350/ton, RMB 11950/ton, and RMB 10425/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY were stable at US$ 1430/ton, US$ 1650/ton, and US$ 1425/ton, respectively.
