Ethylene prices surge in European domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices stayed stable in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1455/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1430/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market stayed steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton. 
           
PTA prices went down in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices went up in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1065/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained steady and were offered in the range of RMB 7700/ton to RMB 7750/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices followed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1235/ton to US$ 1240/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1225/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices stayed stable and were assessed in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international market and went up in the European domestic market, and were offered at US$ 1300/ton and €1045/ton, respectively.  
   
MEG prices surged in Asia. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices surged and were offered at US$ 1035/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices went up in the range of US$ 1035/ton to US$ 1040/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went up and were quoted in the range of RMB 7550/ton to RMB 7600/ton.         
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers declined and were quoted at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1370/ton and US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed at RMB 9800/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices went down in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 9250/ton to RMB 9300/ton.
 
PSF prices went down in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1450/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1350/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices went up and were assessed in the range of RMB 10025/ton to RMB 10075/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY stayed steady at RMB 10350/ton, RMB 11950/ton, and RMB 10425/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY declined and were quoted at US$ 1415/ton, US$ 1630/ton, and US$ 1410/ton, respectively.
