Gulf Petrochem Company celebrates 2000th shipment

Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) recently marked the export of shipment No. 2000 of petrochemicals aboard the vessel MV Stolt Sneland with a total of 7,193 tons of products bound for the US.
Mr. Abdul Rahman Jawahery, GPIC president said the achievement proves the continued success of the company in spite of the fierce competition in the petrochemical industries.
He said GPIC has been able to win the confidence of its shareholders, enhancing the company’s competitiveness while maintaining highest levels of quality, safety and responsible care.
GPIC exports more than 1.1 million tons of products, including Methanol, every year to various world markets including the US, Australia, South America, India, Pakistan, Thailand and other world markets.
GPIC is one of the leading global suppliers of high quality petrochemical products.
GPIC is a joint venture between Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) state members for the manufacture of petrochemicals, equally owned by the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation and Petrochemicals Industries Company, Kuwait.
