MEG prices surge in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices stayed stable in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1445/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1470/ton. 
           
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices went up in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1080/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices stayed steady and were offered in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices were steady in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were offered in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1235/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1200/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices were steady and assessed in the range of 54.00 cents/pound to 54.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1325/ton and €1045/ton, respectively.  
   
MEG prices surged in Asia. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices increased and were offered at US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went up and were quoted in the range of RMB 7750/ton to RMB 7800/ton.           
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers declined at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1370/ton and US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were quoted at RMB 9900/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices went down in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices shot up in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 9350/ton to RMB 9400/ton.
 
PSF prices surged in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1470/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were steady and offered in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY stayed steady at RMB 10350/ton, while DTY and FDY increased at RMB 12000/ton, and RMB 10450/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY increased at US$ 1435/ton, US$ 1660/ton, and US$ 1435/ton, respectively.
