BG PET Chips prices increase in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1435/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market stayed steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1470/ton. 
           
PTA prices surged in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1090/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market went up and were assessed in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices stayed steady and were offered in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1200/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices were steady and were assessed in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were assessed at US$ 1325/ton and €1045/ton, respectively.  
   
MEG prices were steady in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices remained stable and were assessed at US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices were steady and were offered in the range of RMB 7750/ton to RMB 7800/ton.           
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers declined at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1370/ton and US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices surged and were assessed at RMB 10000/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices stayed steady in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices declined in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 9375/ton to RMB 9425/ton.
 
PSF prices stayed stable in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1470/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were steady and were offered in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and FDY surged at RMB 10400/ton and RMB 10500/ton respectively, while prices of DTY were steady at RMB 12000/ton. In the export market, prices for POY and FDY increased at US$ 1440/ton and US$ 1445/ton respectively, while prices of DTY declined at US$ 1460/ton.
