PTA prices increase in Southeast Asian market

Paraxylene (PX) prices stayed steady in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices remained unchanged and were offered in the range of US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1440/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market were stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1460/ton.            
 
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices surged in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1090/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained steady and were offered in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1200/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1325/ton and €1045/ton, respectively.  
 
MEG prices surged in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices were steady and were offered at US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 7925/ton to RMB 7975/ton.           
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers declined at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1370/ton and US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained steady and were offered at RMB 10000/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices declined in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 9350/ton to RMB 9400/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1470/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained unchanged and were offered in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and DTY surged at RMB 10400/ton and RMB 12000/ton respectively, while prices of FDY surged at RMB 10525/ton. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY were stable at US$ 1440/ton, US$ 1660/ton, and US$ 1445/ton, respectively.
