Huntsman Textile Effects has been conferred the Preferred Supplier Status for Huamao Group’s dyes and chemical requirements. This strategic partnership will see Huntsman Textile Effects proactively supporting Huamao Group in addressing challenges in its operational and environmental needs.

Speaking at the signing ceremony recently in China, Dr. Min Cong Lai, Chairman of Huamao Group commented, “As a leading manufacturer of sportswear and casual fabric with facilities in Xiamen and Changshu, Huamao Group is very excited to collaborate with an esteemed partner like Huntsman Textile Effects, to provide us with the innovation and expertise to build on a world-class technical team.

"Moving forward, we believe the partnership will help us differentiate our services in meeting our customers’ stringent product demands and challenges from an operational and environment aspect.”

Added Mr Kent Kvaal, Vice President of Global Sales and Technical Services at Huntsman Textile Effects, “Being awarded the Preferred Supplier Status from business partners like Huamao Group is a mark of confidence in Huntsman Textile Effect’s strength as a global leader in providing innovative and sustainable total textile solutions. China is an important market for us.

“We view this partnership as a significant milestone for Huntsman Textile Effects in delivering world-class technical service solutions, cost-efficient innovations and sustainable processes that will give Huamao Group the added competitive edge. With this collaboration, we look forward to foster closer working relationships with Huamao Group and in offering the latest technical know-how and resources to improve its productivity.”

With the textile industry as a whole facing tighter restrictions on environmental compliance, Huamao Group has taken steps to ensure that its entire manufacturing processes embrace a more sustainable approach. This includes minimizing energy usage, adopting waste and water recycling treatments and using only organic materials and compliant chemicals and dyes during their production.

Huntsman Textile Effects is a global leader in providing total textile solutions across all aspects of the textile chain and a committed player in developing sustainable, high performing processing and effects chemicals with low environmental impact.
