BG PET Chips prices dip in Fareast Asian market

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1440/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1460/ton.  
           
PTA prices surged in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1090/ton to US$ 1095/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1095/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices were steady in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1190/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.0 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1335/ton and €1045/ton, respectively.     
 
MEG prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices were stable and were assessed at US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1070/ton to US$ 1075/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 7800/ton to RMB 7850/ton.           
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers declined at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1370/ton and US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were steady and were assessed at RMB 10000/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 9325/ton to RMB 9375/ton.
 
PSF prices were steady in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1470/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY stayed stable at RMB 10400/ton, RMB 12000/ton, and RMB 10525/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY were unchanged at US$ 1445/ton, US$ 1665/ton, and US$ 1450/ton, respectively.
