PTA prices surge in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices surged in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices went up and were offered in the range of US$ 1470/ton to US$ 1475/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1450/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton.  
           
PTA prices went up in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1095/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1100/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1090/ton to US$ 1095/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices surged and were offered in the range of RMB 7750/ton to RMB 7800/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were offered in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1190/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.0 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1335/ton and €1045/ton, respectively.  
   
MEG prices increased in Asia. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices surged and were offered at US$ 1085/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1070/ton to US$ 1075/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went up and were offered in the range of RMB 8025/ton to RMB 8075/ton.           
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers declined at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1370/ton and US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were stable and were assessed at RMB 10000/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices declined in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 9325/ton to RMB 9375/ton.
 
PSF prices surged in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1475/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1375/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 10200/ton to RMB 10250/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained stable at RMB 10400/ton, RMB 12000/ton, and RMB 10525/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY were steady at US$ 1445/ton, US$ 1665/ton, and US$ 1450/ton, respectively.
