MEG prices decrease in Southeast Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices surged in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1495/ton to US$ 1500/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1480/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1495/ton.  
           
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices went up and were offered in the range of US$ 1105/ton to US$ 1110/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1110/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1105/ton to US$ 1110/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 7800/ton to RMB 7850/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were offered in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1190/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.0 cents/pound. Ethylene prices increased in the European international and domestic markets, and were assessed at US$ 1370/ton and €1070/ton, respectively.  
   
MEG prices declined in Asia. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices went down and were assessed at US$ 1100/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1100/ton to US$ 1105/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went down and were quoted in the range of RMB 8075/ton to RMB 8125/ton.       
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers increased at US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1390/ton and US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices surged and were quoted at RMB 10075/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1340/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices surged and were offered in the range of RMB 9450/ton to RMB 9475/ton.
 
PSF prices were steady in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1475/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1375/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 10300/ton to RMB 10350/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices increased at RMB 10425/ton, RMB 12050/ton, and RMB 10575/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY surged at US$ 1450/ton, US$ 1675/ton, and US$ 1455/ton, respectively.
