MEGlobal announces September Asian contract price for MEG

MEGlobal, which manufactures more than 1 million metric tonnes of ethylene glycol per year at its three manufacturing plants in Alberta, Canada, has announced its Asian Contract Price (ACP) for monoethylene glycol (MEG) for September, 2013.
The ACP for MEG will be US$ 1210 per metric tonne CFR Asian main port for September 2013 arrival.
The September ACP for MEG is more than the company’s August 2013 ACP of US$ 1140 per metric tonne.
The September ACP reflects the short term supply/demand situation in the Asian market.
Established in 2004, MEGlobal is a joint venture between The Dow Chemical Company of the United States, and Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) of Kuwait.
