FG PET Chips prices increase in Korean market

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices went up and were assessed in the range of US$ 1495/ton to US$ 1500/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1475/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1495/ton.

PTA prices stayed stable in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices were steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1125/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1125/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market stayed stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1125/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices stayed steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 7785/ton to RMB 7835/ton.

Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1335/ton to US$ 1340/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1240/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices stayed steady and were offered in the range of 54.50 cents/pound to 55.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices surged in the European international and domestic markets as well, and were quoted at US$ 1440/ton and €1085/ton, respectively.

MEG prices went down in Asia. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices declined and were assessed at US$ 1130/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices went up and were quoted in the range of US$ 1125/ton to US$ 1130/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 8275/ton to RMB 8325/ton.

In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices stayed steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1480/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers remained unchanged at US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1470/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1430/ton and US$ 1450/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices increased and were assessed at RMB 10200/ton.

In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices went up and were offered in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1300/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices stayed steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 9625/ton to RMB 9675/ton.

PSF prices increased in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1520/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices went up and were offered in the range of RMB 10350/ton to RMB 10375/ton.

In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices increased at RMB 10550/ton, RMB 12150/ton, and RMB 10650/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY went up at US$ 1470/ton, US$ 1690/ton, and US$ 1470/ton, respectively.
