PTA prices show mix trend in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1505/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1480/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1505/ton.
 
PTA prices showed a mixed trend in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1080/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1070/ton to US$ 1075/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.
 
Ethylene prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Far East Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1230/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of 55.00 cents/pound to 55.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the European international and domestic market, and were quoted at US$ 1480/ton and €1185/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices remained unchanged and were assessed at US$ 1105/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices maintained a steady trend and were quoted in the range of US$ 1095/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 7975/ton to RMB 8025/ton.
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1490/ton, and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1480/ton. In the Far East Asian market, selling offers remained unchanged at US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1480/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1440/ton and US$ 1470/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted at RMB 10150/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1260/ton to US$ 1290/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1310/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 9600/ton to RMB 9650/ton.
 
PSF prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In the Far East Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1520/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF pricesremained stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 10300/ton to RMB 10350/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained stable at RMB 10750/ton, RMB 12250/ton, and RMB 10800/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY remained stable at US$ 1500/ton, US$ 1705/ton, and US$ 1495/ton, respectively.
